No referral or French social security registration is needed — visitors and tourists can book directly and pay for the session out of pocket. If your travel or health insurance covers physical therapy received abroad, keep your invoice (facture), which can be provided on request, to file a claim with your insurer.
Phénix Protocol

Insurance & Reimbursement
In France, physical therapy is covered by national health insurance for French residents with a medical prescription, through the usual care pathway. For visitors from abroad, this session is a private, out-of-pocket consultation, payable directly at the clinic. Some U.S. travel insurance or out-of-network health plans reimburse physical therapy received while traveling — check your policy, and ask for a receipt at your visit if you plan to file a claim.
Cancellations
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled directly from your Doctolib account, or by phone in case of an emergency, ideally at least 24 hours in advance.
